These are the photos I chose for my latest class series. Shot in downtown. Window reflections of the old architecture.

Railroad Shoot

Here are some slide pictures that I scanned from my last shoot for class. We had to stay within the boundaries of the railraod so I took some shots of that and the rec center by the parking lot.

Here is my favorite shot of the night.

San Diego Zoo

This trip was a lot of fun. I got a lot more practice with the camera. Unfortunately a lot of the animals were being gay and just kept sleepin or doin boring stuff. It was late in the day and I guess the morning is the best time to get these creatures. I'd have such great pictures of the pandas but damnit I always forget to set the ASA when I'm in lowlight conditions. Anyway Here are the pictures.
The non-animal pictures are of this performance I saw at the zoo. Pretty nifty costume.

Manequin Heads - Still Life, Study on light

Well it's not exactly a photograph, but this is my latest work from my Drawing I class. Its an eraser drawing using charcoal spread over the paper. The figures were drawn using an eraser, with small details added with a charcoal pencil. Its a study on light and shadow so I tried using different gradients of charcoal from light to dark. 18x24 inches

No camera for about 2-3 weeks.

Unfortunately my auto focus and flash somehow got damaged a little while ago. I finally had a chance to take it in for repairs. The return time is 2 to 3 weeks. I don't take pictures that often but it feels odd not having the camera when I need it. In the mean time I'll be workin on older photos polishing the photoshop skills.

On Locale: Downtown-Pictures

Unfortunately I didn't find anything special in downtown. I did come up with a couple pictures I liked.
